Overland Park, KS: Eye Associates has just opened their newest office in the BluHawk marketplace in south Overland Park. This is Eye Associates’ 7th location as the family-focused practice continues to expand throughout Johnson County.
 

Like all of Eye Associates’ locations, the new South Overland Park office will offer comprehensive eye exams, glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, contact lens fitting, dry eye treatment, refractive surgery consultation, and a full-service optical boutique.
 

Eye Associates of South Overland Park will also feature retinal imaging technology, giving patients clearer picture of their eye health. The new office will also have a large variety of stylish frames for men, women, and children.
 

Eye Associates has always been committed to serving the families of Johnson County. They understand it can be hard to find time to get to the eye doctor. That’s why Eye Associates offers extended hours on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as Saturdays from 8:00am-1:00pm (They are closed the first Saturday of every month).
 

“Patients have a busy schedule,” said Dr. Chris Connor, the lead optometrist at the south Overland Park location.  “Rather than inconveniencing them, it’s easy for us to keep our doors open longer, and patients really appreciate that.”
 

Additionally, the Eye Associates of South Overland Park will make Eye Associates more accessible to many current patients as well as new patients. The BluHawk Marketplace is within a 3 mile drive for over 46,000 people.
 

“I’m most excited about reaching new patients in a different part of the city,” said Dr. Connor. “It will be nice to serve our patients in a timely manner, and we’ll be able to do that with the opening.”
 

Eye Associates was founded in 1986 by Dr. Vincent Pennipede. Originally a solo practice, Eye Associates now has 10 optometrists and over 50 employees. With the opening of their seventh location, Eye Associates is now within 5 miles of the majority of Johnson County residents. All of their optometrists are trained to work with children, and their extended hours make it easier for families to find time for an appointment.
