Linda has been a valued member of the Eye Associates team since 2006. She has learned all aspects of our business since then and has contributed greatly to the success of our company. Linda’s expertise and caring have allowed Eye Associates to expand our offices while still delivering great patient care and service. We couldn’t do what we do without Linda!
 

Briefly describe what you do.

I wear many different hats throughout the day. Some days consist of research and implementing new systems; other days are spent trying to figure out how to make certain workflows more effective or efficient. My favorite days are getting to work one-on-one with patients, or helping another colleague learn more and become more passionate about the eyes.
 

What do you like best about working for Eye Associates?

I like being able to see patients return year after year, especially the families; and getting to watch their children grow up. Also knowing that we can help someone with a pair of hunting glasses because they like to go bear hunting!
 

What do you like to do when you’re not in the office?

I love to cook!
 

What is your personal motto?

We have to continue to learn. We have to be open. And we have to be ready to share our knowledge in order to come to a higher understanding of reality.
 

What is one thing that almost no one knows about you, or would be surprised to know?

I don’t know how to swim, but I don’t let it stop me. I’ll be the first one to zip up a life jacket and jump into the water to snorkel!
 

Best vacation you ever took and why?

Italy. I love the atmosphere and the food. I might have been Italian in a past life!
 

Favorite thing to do in Kansas City?

Stay home and invite friends over.
 

What are you proudest of?

My daughter, Madison. She is so funny, and watching her grow up has been amazing.
 

One thing on your bucket list?

Travel to France and/or Japan.

“How long will my contacts/glasses take?”
 

What is one thing everyone should do to take care of their eyes?

That’s easy – preventative checkups!
