Michael has been with Eye Associates since 2016. With his thorough knowledge of the company and our many products, Michael takes care of the day-to-day workflow of the office. He ensures our Olathe patients are taken care of, and provides direction, training and mentorship to our staff. Eye Associates’ Olathe office would not run as smoothly without Michael!
 

Briefly describe what you do.

I help lead the Olathe office. I also provide tech services, which includes pre-testing, helping patients select frames, going over patients’ insurance, creating contact lens orders, and training patients on how to put in contacts.
 

What do you like best about working for Eye Associates?

The teamwork! I love how we all work as a team and everyone is so versatile. Knowing that I can count on my coworkers makes working here that much better.
 

What do you like to do when you’re not in the office?

I love being with family and friends. To me, family time is the best time. I also love watching and playing sports, Netflix, and amusement parks.
 

What is your personal motto?

Try and have a positive impact on people’s lives.
 

What is one thing that almost no one knows about you, or would be surprised to know?

I like listening to country music.
 

Best vacation you ever took and why?

A family vacation to Branson that was our first family vacation ever. We had a house right on the lake, and went tubing, ziplining, go-karting, and rented a pontoon boat. It was a great time with family.
 

Favorite thing to do in Kansas City?

Go to Royals games. It’s always so much fun, and they have a really nice stadium.
 

What are you proudest of?

Being an uncle. I love my two nephews. The joy they bring to my life is indescribable.
 

One thing on your bucket list?

Going to see Tom Brady play in Foxborough!

What is one thing everyone should do to take care of their eyes?

Get a yearly eye exam.
