Morgan has been a valued member of the Eye Associates team since 2011. As one of two practice managers, she helps make sure our offices run smoothly, our patients are taken care of, and our staff members are happy. We couldn’t do what we do without Morgan!

Briefly describe what you do.

I do a little of everything day-to-day – helping patients, interviewing new staff, getting the best frame purchase deals, and party planning for company events.
 

What do you like best about working for Eye Associates?

Eye Associates is a company with so many opportunities and so much to learn. I love healthcare because the new technology that is always coming out makes it a fun career to have.
 

What do you like to do when you’re not in the office?

I have three little girls (a 4 -year-old, 3-year-old and a 7-month-old) so my hands are always full. We run on emotions and dress up!
 

What is your personal motto?

“Work smarter, not harder” and “Be proactive, not reactive.”
 

Best vacation you ever took and why?

Going to Branson and having a cabin on Lake Tahoe with my mom and stepdad, my husband and our two daughters at that time. We did not know it would be the last one before my stepdad passed away suddenly.
 

Favorite thing to do in Kansas City?

Trying new local restaurants.
 

What are you proudest of?

Purchasing a home on my own and having my three girls.
 

One thing on your bucket list?

A vacation in Fiji.
 

What is one thing that almost no one knows about you, or would be surprised to know?

That I have tattoos!

What is one thing everyone should do to take care of their eyes?

Have your annual exam every year. The retinal photographs we take with your annual exam at no cost have detected so many issues for patients who had no idea something was going on.
