Nicholas A. Pennipede Memorial Scholarship Winner – Avery Anderson, Spring 2018
Congratulations to Avery Anderson, a freshman at the University of Arizona, who is our Spring 2018 Nicholas A. Pennipede Memorial Scholarship winner. Avery will receive $1,000 from Eye Associates to apply toward her college education.
We were inspired by Avery’s essay about using her education to care for others. She wrote, in part:
I will take these experiences and my countless experiences and education at the University of Arizona to remind me that I have the power to improve people’s lives by sharing my education and knowledge, showing humility and loving and caring for others. – Avery Anderson
It is truly an honor for us to provide this annual financial assistance to students like Avery.
Eye Associates provides two Nicholas A. Pennipede Memorial Scholarships each year (spring and fall).
