We are proud to introduce our latest scholarship winner, Annabelle Siebs, whose leadership and sense of community service have impressed us.
Annabelle Siebs is a recent graduate of Blue Valley Southwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas, where she earned a 4.22 GPA and was a leader in academics, service, and student life. She is the founder of Serving San Isidro, a nonprofit in Costa Rica supporting women and children affected by abuse and abandonment. Through her leadership, the organization launched a sustainable food pantry and contributed to the success of a community counseling center, providing critical resources to single mothers and their families.
Alongside her family, Annabelle has also supported Wendkouni, a girl from Burkina Faso, West Africa, through Compassion International for over a decade. Their long-distance friendship through letters has fostered mutual encouragement and a shared sense of global connection.
Locally, Annabelle led Future is Female, quadrupling membership and organizing projects for women’s shelters and families in need. She was also heavily involved in her high school cheer team and was a peer mental health advocate with consistent participation in faith-based service programs.
This fall, Annabelle will attend Texas Christian University to study Global Business and Mandarin Chinese, continuing her mission to lead with compassion and cross-cultural purpose.
