Meet Brandi Nemeth of Eye Associates

Meet Brandi Nemeth, our Clinical Manager. She plays a vital role behind the scenes, traveling between our eight locations to support staff, train team leads, and make sure every clinic operates at its best. Her deep knowledge of insurance and her commitment to helping others grow make her an invaluable leader — and a cornerstone of the Eye Associates family.

Employee Spotlight Q&A: Brandi Nemeth

Briefly describe what you do: I travel between our eight locations to support staff and ensure everything runs smoothly in the office. I work closely with our leads and insurance coordinators, providing training on new processes and policies as they’re introduced. The learning never stops! With the constant changes in insurance, I spend a lot of time staying up to date on the various insurance plans we accept. This allows me to share my knowledge with the team, helping everyone stay informed and ensuring we’re all experts when it comes to understanding our patients’ insurance policies.  


What do you like best about working for Eye Associates? I love that, even though we have eight separate locations, we are just one big family! We work hard and play harder! I also love the relationships we build with our patients; they too are a part of our big family!

What is your personal Motto? There’s no mistake that can’t be fixed. You have to make mistakes to learn; keep learning!

What do you like to do when you're not in the office?  I love spending time with my kids! Our days are usually packed with sports, so you’ll often find me cheering them on at games and meets! 

What is one thing that almost no one knows about you, or would be surprised to know? I think people would be surprised to learn that I’ve never played a sport, especially considering my competitive nature! 

Best vacation you ever took and why? San Antonio, TX. We surprised the kids on Christmas and left the next day. We rented a house with an amazing pool and went to Six Flags! It was my kids’ favorite vacation, one they talk about all the time, which makes it my best vacation ever!

Favorite thing to do in Kansas City? Shopping! From antique stores and boutiques to farmers’ markets and even Target, I’m all about it! 

What are you proudest of? My kids! Watching them grow into responsible and kind individuals makes me so proud to be their Mom! 

What is the most common question you get from patients? What does my insurance cover?

What is one thing everyone should do to take care of their eyes? Wear polarized sunglasses while outdoors! 

What is one thing on your bucket list?  A honeymoon with my husband, we never got to take one. Bonus points if it’s in another country!
