Dr. Ty Diggs
Dr. Diggs is from Olathe, KS. He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology emphasized in Physiology. Dr. Diggs received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry in 2021.
While studying toward his doctorate, Dr. Diggs worked as a medical technician at Brinton Vision refractive surgery center. He served multiple communities during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic of 2020 through internships at Pepose Eye Institute of Chesterfield MO, Affinia Healthcare of St. Louis MO, and the Kansas City VA Medical Center.
He also served as treasurer of UMSLCO American Student Optometric Association, class representative of UMSLCO Wellness Committee, and as a member of the Sports Vision Club.
Enjoying all aspects of primary care optometry, Dr. Diggs is committed to helping his community via a holistic approach to visual health. In his spare time, he enjoys watching or attending sporting events, concerts, kayaking, disc golf, and spending time with friends and family.
