Originally from Ellinwood, Kansas, Dr. Lisa Muiller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Washburn University, with minors in Leadership, Natural Sciences, and Psychology. She then obtained her Doctorate at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2015. During her time at SCO, Dr. Muiller was involved in many organizations including Student Ambassadors and Lion’s Club. She received several honors while in school, including the Outstanding Clinician Award, Clinical Skills Award, and Excellence in Low Vision Award, as well as induction into Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. As part of her clinical training, Dr. Muiller completed internships at the VA Medical Center in Wichita, KS and at a private practice in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Muiller is excited to be back in her home state and practicing at Eye Associates.

Currently, Dr. Muiller resides in Overland Park with her husband, Joe, and their chocolate lab, Jack.
