Dante Pennipede, MD
Joining The Team Summer 2026.
Dante Pennipede, MD, will be the staff ophthalmologist of Eye Associates. Dr. Pennipede will specialize in comprehensive eye care, including cataract surgery, external eye disease, and management of glaucoma.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and completed his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he received the Outstanding Medical Student award from the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Pennipede will complete his ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas, where he was honored as Resident of the Year during his PGY-3 year for his outstanding clinical and surgical performance and dedication to patient care. He was elected to serve as Chief Resident during his PGY-4 year.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Pennipede enjoys spending quality time with his wife, traveling, and playing golf. They are also expecting their first child at the beginning of this coming year!
